Dear Prospective Rushees,
On behalf of the brothers of the Alpha Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, we welcome you to our Spring 2012 rush. Each semester we open our doors to candidates to become our new brothers. It is our sincere hope that we will find these new additions to our brotherhood among those of you reading this out there.
As a business organization, AKPsi equips its members with the tools and the network necessary to succeed professionally. We are devoted to the success of each of our brothers, from their pledge semester to the end of their college career. Our chapter is home to forty of the most accomplished students at the University as well as a vast network of alumni in the business world. AKPsi offers the opportunity to form lifelong bonds with each of these talented and unique individuals. Long after our time at the University of Virginia is over, we will still be in contact with the brothers that we shared our AKPsi experience with.
Our brothers routinely receive internships and fulltime offers at a wide array of prestigious consulting firms, accounting firms, and investment banks. However, they were not always this accomplished. Every brother started out in the exact position you are in now. For ourselves, it was 2 years ago that we found ourselves stepping into an AKPsi info session on a whim. We possessed a passion for business and a willingness to meet new people, but not much else. Since then, we have grown in leaps and bounds both personally and professionally and we owe that all to the brotherhood.
AKPsi helped us realize who we were, showed us who we could become, and gave us the means to facilitate that transformation.
